Peace Mural for a 25th Anniversary Gift from the Citizens of Victoria to the Citizens of Morioka

We are donating fabric to the making of a peace mural for the 25th anniversary gift between the citizens of Victoria, BC and the citizens of Morioka, Japan. These are 2 sister cities. The mural is being created by and paid for by donations to the Victoria Morioka Friendship Society. The Mural will have images of Victoria, ( hanging baskets, legislative buildings etc ) and images of Morioka ( Castle Wall. heritage building etc ). The images of the two cities will be connected by a metaphoric " Bridge across the Pacific ".

There will be a period where the Victorian community can get involved by adding their handprint to the mural! Check back for dates and location.
